So how in love are we with this beautiful wintergreen dress that literally screams holiday! Everyone needs a beautiful holiday dress that makes you feel like magic during this season. Even though there may not be many holidays parties this year still get dressed and show up for yourself! I was super nervous about this dress. I haven’t worth satin or a high-low in a very long time! I was pleasantly surprised by this piece and my experience shopping on Shein! Today I will be sharing more details about this dress and tips for shopping at Shein.

Pros: I love the satin material, tie-knot in the front, high-low contrast, and of course the color. I got this dress in a size 2X and it fits true to size.

Cons: Had to utilize double-sided tape to keep my bra from showing and the dress is pretty thin so you won’t be super warm!

So let’s get into tips for shopping Shein! Shein is considered fast fashion which allows mainstream consumers to purchase trendy clothing at an affordable price. With the affordability comes challenges. So I will share with you some helpful tips for shopping their site.

1. Read the Reviews - I cannot stress how important it is to read the reviews. This will give you a good indicator of what sizes to order. When in doubt order up!

2. Order Early - If you are needing an item for a specific event or date make sure you order early! The items are coming from overseas and may take longer with COVID.

3. Read the Item Description - Please, please, please read the item description thoroughly! You want to look at the fit type, details, and fabric. By looking at these you will know how the item is suppose to fit and details on the construction and materials more than just looking at the photo.

4. Mange Your Expectations - The quality will not always be perfect and won’t be similar to many high-end stores if that’s where you are used to shopping! Again this is fast fashion so a lot of times it will be hit or miss, but also remember how much you paid for the item.
